I recently recieved an RBTA for my anniversary on the 12th as a few have commented its a little bleached from being under the flourecent bulbs the lfs had it under. now i have it under a T-5 ATI system 2 ati blue plus, an ati blue special and an ati purple plus. unfortunately it comes out completely at night under the blue leds but during the day it takes the lights for roughly two hours then hides under a rock formation until night time. it feeds on a chopped silversides and kent microvert mixture. any idea how long this fella might hide from the lighting?

thanks folks

it will hide until its comfortable, you can try putting screen on top of your take to reduce the light coming in...see if that helps it

what he said...nems will take their time acclimating so don't worry too much..especially if it's eating well ;)
give it some time...:)

GL and post some pix of ur "happy anniversary nem" :D

I have always used layers of window screening (( supported by egg crate )) b/t the lights and the tank. With your lights I think that this is very important, and wouldn't trust the anemone to adjust on its own. I would use 3 layers, with removing a layer every 5-7 days.

Would look something like this;
