Lighting choice

I have a 29gallon tank. I was wondering which light would be better for sps but also lps, 8x24w t5ho or 6x39w t5ho?

Both seem to be overkill. Is this the standard 30" by 12" by 21" 29 gallon or not? If it is then I don't know how you'd fit all those bulbs.

If it has those dimensions, then a 4 x 24 watt sunpower would do well. 6 bulbs would be at the max I would say.

i Have the 29gallon thats 30" long by 21" and i got a Tek 24" 4 bulb and i dont think a 6 bulb would come even close to fitting, it would be a waste of $$ anda huge overkill

yes it is the standard 30x21, i thought that 4 24 W would not be able to keep sps? that is why i was going with more bulbs...

4 bulbs will be plenty. And other fixtures won't even fit. More bulbs doesn't necessarily mean more PAR.
