Lighting Choices

I an setting up a 125 (72x18x24) and are deciding between two light hoods:

They are both Outer Orbit Pro Series HQI/T-5/LED

I will be getting the 72" model, should I get the 3-150 W HQI or the 3-250 W HQI model.

I will be keeping mostly LPS with a few SPS.

I am worried about the 250 W burning the LPS but want to be able to be flexible. Which one should I get?

I have asked the same question, and everyone seems to like the 3-250. People say that it is fine for lps.

250 14K and you will be hooked up. You could grow almost anything you want.

Agreed, 3-250 watts would allow for better flexibility.

250 all the way. That way if upgrade you already have to lights.

And I belive there is a better bulb (kelvin rating) selection in 250 watt.

I agree with the 250's. So if in the future you want to add some SPS pieces you can without any problems.
