the answer most people will give you is about 8 to 12 hours everyday

I personally run my halides for 10 hours, actinics for 12 (overlapping the halides) and moonlights all day

12hrs of halides no suplemental on the 90 gal , antic t-5's 2 hr antinics and 10 k t-5's 8 hrs then 2 hrs antinics , moon lights to follow for another 2 hrs on the wifes 20, 10 gal mantis from when i get up till i go to bed 1) 32 watt pc

I run 6 t-5s on my 55 .

There are 3 sets of two and each set comes on I hour apart for 10 hours totally lighted 8 hours for all six.

One of the sets is also on each morning between 5 and 6 when I feed each morning.

Other 2 tanks are set to run 9 hours each.

- 1 Hr. - 2 Coralife 1w Moonlight LED, then off after the T-5’s fire.
- 10 Hrs. â€"œ 2 each, T-5 54w Giesemann (1) Power Chrome + (1) Pure Actinic, which remain illuminated until 1 Hr. after the MH’s kick off.
- 9 Hrs. â€"œ 2each, 250w 20,000k XM MH’s, w/ Coral-Vue electronic ballasts
- 1/2 Hr. later â€"œ the T-5's switch off, followed by
- 1 Hr. - 2 Coralife 1w Moonlight LED
