A couple of days ago I removed the sand from my 40B and I've noticed, since then, a huge difference in how bright my tank looks!
Is there that much light reflection from the white sand? If there is then I may be putting the sand back in. I took it out to go BB so I could keep my tank spotless but I'm thinking maybe a little sand crud is better than loosing light.
The difference is so dramatic that I actually checked to make sure I'd turned everything on yesterday.
Anyone else removed or added sand and noticed this? It's like now I have light coming from above...before I had it coming from above and below.
