So I finally got a light yes I know it took me forever to decide. I decided I may want the option for sps and went with a stronger light and for the timer I will just use one of those times people use for Christmas lights and will welled a metal frame that I can set on the tank that I can just hook it into. Thanks for all your suggestions guys they were really helpful.
