Lighting for a 125

Trying to decide on lighting for a standard 6' 125 gallon. It has a center brace instead of the two brace top. I was kinda leaning toward 4 AI prime hd's, unless someone has a better idea. I was wondering if anyone has 2 AI 26hd models over a 6 ft tank, to see about full length coverage. Let me know your thoughts, Thanks

What are you wanting to keep. At what level do you wish to enjoy the hobby?

This can range from a few easy zoas, mushrooms and leather to having specialized nems or SPS at an elite level.

If you want to do a mix of normal stuff, then the AIs should be fine. If you want to be elite or specialize, then you will probably have to pick out something different.

Sorry, I guess I should have mentioned that I am mostly a LPS guy. I would like to have a couple nice bubble tip nem's though, as well.

You are probably OK. If you want to get huge colonies, then those can shadow a bit with the point-source light... this is where reflectors, T5s or large panels like ReefBreeders can help. This is probably not a huge issue, but just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for your replies. I also thought of doing a couple t5 bulbs on each side along with the Led's. I guess I will order them up and check the readings when they come in.
