Lighting for a 15" tall tank

Hi all,

I'm setting up a small tank 30x18x15 (L,W,H) sumpless, and I wanted your lighting recommendations.

I plan to keep only fleshy lps such as,

Bubbles
Elegance
frog sporn
Hammers
Torch
Blasto
Fox coral

And one accept ion to this rule:
Candy Canes (just love the florescent ones)

I was thinking of a 150w halide but I'm not sure due to heat and may be to bright for some of the corals, or i could go with t5 / power compacts.

What do you think?

I have 150 watt 10k halides over my 12" deep tank and it is too bright for my bubble coral, frogspawn and hammers do fine, I think if you had 14 or 20K bulbs over it and some caves you would be alright. None of your picks are high light needing though so you could go with t5's instead.
