I was asking in the equipment forum to not get any help. I lost a 400 watt ballest yesterday and i figuired nows the time to upgrade. Its a 200 gal oceanic I have 2 400 watt and 1 250 watt mogle base mh w/a mag ballest. It is a sps tank that 24 inches deep. I was thinking to dropping down to a total of 3 250 watters. Has any one done this or running 3 250 on this kind of tank depth?Or am I better off sticking with the 400 watters. I'm thinking about the Hamilton reefstar hqi w/ 14k and adding the led's to them.Any help would be great since I need to order them sometime this week.
