Lighting for a 29 gal.

Ok, I'm getting ready to move everything from my 20 gal. to my 29 gal. I know....big upgrade  Well, I'm hoping to keep a few SPS in this tank. Right now I have a few montis in a 10 gal under 65 watt PCs and they seem to be doin' fine. I'm gonna use my 24" 130 watt aqualight when I setup. I was wondering would the Current 24" 4 x 24 watt T-5 HO (96w) be better than the PCs or just stick with the PCs for what I'm keeping? Only SPS will be montiporas.

Thanks,
Steve

T5's will be better but you need a setup with individual reflectors to take advantage of them which I don't think current has. I ended up buying a 4 x 24" SLS retro for my 29 after a lot of research FWIW. Icecap(overdriven with that ballast) and a few others sell good retros as well.

I was hoping to stay away from doin' the retro. I'll look into it a little more. Thanks for the reply.
