Just picked up a 30 gallon cube that came with a 150w halide. I plan to sell that and get something LED but not sure what would work.

Looking at maybe two gooseneck clip on and running PAR38.

Plan on only soft corals and maybe putting my rainbow bubble tip in there down the road.

What would you guys recommend

That's way out of my price range. I'm looking for cheap on this build. Got everything for $250. Just looking to go with something cheap but soft coral compatible. I already have a 220 full mixed reef

what length width and height is your tank? I am running Chinese Black Box led light, better spectrum and remote control and built in LCD screen with 3 channel timer, whites, blues plus moonlights channel, white channel and blue channel are dimmable via dial.

PAR38 and gooseneck clip are great for NANO tank,I got one of PAR38 and one of gooseneck clip for my 14 gal tank from the Chinese manufacturer, cost me $29 each shipped for PAR30 and $19 each shipped for gooseneck.

You could do 2 hydra 26's would be better than 1 52, but for less money you could go with a reef breeders fixture.

I think you guys are missing the cheap part.

I got a fixture for my 220g cheaper than any option recommended so far.

For a lower budget I would look into a Chinese black box OR a Ocean revive T247 . IMO if your looking for something cheap in this hobby you are either cutting corners or willing to camp out for a good deal to come around. I doubt the one you posted has a UL or CSA rating on it. Google a bit and you will find horror stories of people almost burning down their house with cheap Chinese electronics. Its always when something goes wrong that you tell yourself " Wow , this was not wort the 100$ I saved "

I have seen hydra 26 used on here for around 200. Or try an AI prime or I have seen a lot of kessils 150 for around 150. Plenty of quality lights for tight budgets and you could always upgrade at some point. I have that same cube and I currently use a Radion xr15 pro and I can grow anything I want to.

Thank you for that link. I had a guy offer me a brand new kessil 150 without gooseneck for $140 so this can save me a little bit
