Lighting for a softy tank

I foolishly let my wife talk me into setting up a soft coral tank so i got a question will T5's be enough light on a 110 to keep the coral healthy and growing good or should i run my halides?

Yes. the question how many... Softy but which one? That is a very big tank to start a softy.

its gonna be a mix of leathers zoos mushroom colt eventually gonna add some lps to it but for now its gonna be softy with a few fish

T5's will be fine, but that's a pretty general answer to your question. How many t5's are you thinking of using?
