Ive got a IC 660, 4 36" SLR reflectors and a 48"x18 tank thats 12" deep. I was thinking of staggering the bulbs so that the ends of the tank each have 12" of "lower intensity" light.
If i did this setup, how far from the water surface should i keep the bulbs? Ill be keeping sps/higher light stuff in the middle of the tank.
For bulbs, i was thinking this:

Im a bit worried the 660 will be too much for chalices and other lower light stuff.
I could sell this off and do something else, but i have this and it would be nice to use it.
