Lighting for corals question ???

I picked up 2 new corals last friday. I only have a BioCube with the stock lighting. 48 watts, 2 white lights & 2 blue actinic lights.

I haven't done the upgrade yet but I got the upgrade from nanotuners, its another 24 watts, 1 more white & 1 more blue actinic...now a total of 72 watts.

The colors of the corals dont seem to POP like they were at the LFS. Should I scrap the light upgrade that I bought or should I go with a MH light.

The red brain seems to be loosing some of the red color at the bottom.........Heres a few pictures....... Any help will be great

A 14k or 20k MH should give you really nice color, you can try making one of your bulbs all actinic instead of 50/50 and see if you like it. And the brain looks like maybe low Mg level. But i would check your parameters first before adding any chemicals.
