Lighting for frag tank

I have a 29 gallon tank and i want to turn it into a frag tank. What lighting should i go with?

I have a 29 high that I run compact flo's and am very happy with, if you are thinking of MH's over a 29 you may have heat issue's unless you have a large sump

It depends upon what types of frags you want to grow out. If they are LPS or softies, PCs may be fine. It it;s SPS, you may want to think T-5s or MH. I would not run anything over 175 watts in MH on that small of a tank unless it's tied in to a larger system. Beause it's a frag tank you can raise the frags up so even 150 watt may be sufficient.

I used to run a 26 bow with 65 w PC, 175 w MH and a 15 w NO actinic and had no major heat issues, one fan took care of it.

What are the dimmentions of your tank?

it is 30 long 19 high and 12 deep

2 x 24" T-5s with a 150 to 175 w MH would be sweet
