Lighting for Nano Reef

Haven't had a tank in around 2 years but looking to start up a new nano reef tank. Im thinking about going with one of the smaller ADA tanks and need to know what a good light would be. Whats a good option at a reasonable price for my first light. Im going to upgrade as I go but not trying to spend a lot up front.

Without knowing more information about your intended set up, it's hard to make a recommendation. What are the dimensions of your tank and what do you plan on keeping in terms of coral?

When I upgraded my lights, I had a small budget, so I was shopping around constantly, looking for lights. Finally, I decided to try one of these LED Bulb lights. While they aren't perfect, they are pretty nice. I have mine positioned about 16" above my aquarium(Which is 17" deep, and I have most of my corals on rocks) and it's been keeping my corals healthy. The light in the link looks more violet than anything to me, and also, if you plan to buy them, they only decently light up about a 12 x 12 area.
