Lighting for new tank...

I am in the process of piecing together a new system, after we move into the new house we're building.

I'm looking into getting a 28x24x12 custom made rimless w/ beveled edges tank. I am thinking of getting an ATI Power Module. Now, the one I am thinking of getting is the 2x24, but I want to make sure that is going to provide me with enough lighting for that particular size tank, if not then I need to look into the 6x24.

My old tanks were only supplemented by T5's, with MH lighting. This time around, I am going to go with T5's across the board.

Can I please get some input on this? Thanks!

Welcome to Reef Central. The lighting requirements of the tank will be determined by what you have in the tank, aquascaping, and what's pleasing to your eyes to name a few. I'm not sure what type of input you are looking for with the limited info that you have provided.

Depending on the rock that I get and the shape of it, I am going to try to make it pretty much two islands. As for the type of livestock I plan on keeping, it will mainly be SPS, a few acans, and some zoa's.
