lighting for seahorses

I was wondering what kind of light is best for seahorse. I plan to have a timer.

Ambient lighting is all seahorses need. Lighting usually then would depend on what else you are putting in the tank, or, just how much light you want to be able to view the seahorses to your satisfaction.
If you have corals or macro, then choose the least amount of light that will satisfy them.
If you need a lot of light then provide areas of shade that the seahorse can hang out in if they choose.
