I have a tank that I haven't had setup for a couple years (due to job relocations)...
Well, I want to get it setup again.
Tank specs:
- Acrylic
- 94" x 16.75" x 17.75" (length x width x height; inside dimensions)
- 120 Gallons (if my calculations are correct)
- Fish & reef
- Likely types of coral: xenia, staghorn, frogspawn, and similar
Previously, I had VHO retro secured to the inside ceiling of the canopy.
On this setup, I want to go without a canopy. The canopy that came with this tank is rather bulky & heavy, and don't want to use it on this setup.
I want to use a hanging light fixture(s), and like the idea of using T5. But, am willing to consider other options.
I have not seen any 8 foot fixtures.
My question is, what would be the best setup for an 8 foot tank? Would two 36" fixtures (side by side) be sufficient? If I were to use two 48" fixtures, would the two fixtures would need to be butted together, I think.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Bryan
