Hi,

Just set up 150 gallon display tank with sump. Have sand and rock but no coral. Return pump with no powerheads yet.

Have 3 AI Hydra 32HDs.

Additions today: 1 Purple Bubble Tip anemone, 2 Picasso Clownfish, and 3 Banggai Cardinalfish.

How should I set up the AI Hdyras? Actual intensities for each color would be helpful.

Thanks very much for any help provided.

When you say "just set-up"....has the tank even cycled yet?
are you getting corals later? I would do sometrhing like this:
  • UV: 119
  • Purp: 116
  • Royal: 79
  • Blue: 80
  • Red and Green: 4
  • White: 19

Yes, the tank is cycled and the lfs said the water parameters are good. Coral will come later after I am comfortable maintaining the tank. Taking it slow and easy.

Not familiar with LEDs, let alone AI Hydras. I run MH and actinic LED. But I would ramp up for 1 hour, going to 100% and then ramp down for an hour after a 12 hour period.

Tank may be a little young for an anemone. That said, I have no experience with Hydras either but I know a common setting is the AB+ setting, similar to @OldReefGuy
UV 128%
Violet 109%
Royal Blue 89%
Blue 71%
Green 6%
Red 6%
White 21%
