currentley I am lighting my 60 inch bowfront 110 with 2 65 watt power compacts 48 inch total in length 50/50 10k and 460 4 months old in center in the bowfront I am using a 36 inch dual T5's at 10k by coralife on the rear my budget allowed for a 48 inch shoplight fixture with a 420 nm t12 and a coralife 20k t12 that is at a month old here is my tank and I would ask what should I upgrade to? I was thinking of going to this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/AQUARIUM-LIGHT-60-METAL-HALIDE-REEF-LIGHTING-1072-WT_W0QQitemZ260263673068QQihZ016QQcategoryZ46314QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

well maybe I can sell it all off or is this a good mix in the small tank I am proud of?

well let me k now what you think and flame me I just wanna get this tank all pimped out!!

that ebay light you showed us is the jbj odyssea from aquatraders.com.

it might not be sold by the same peoplebut its the same light and its a "knockoff" of the coralife fixture.

i dont own one but im VERY interested in purchasing one...
ive done research on them and what i found was that aquatraders used to be very bad with support...also their metal halides caught fir due to the bad magnetic ballasts...

the new ones tho are elctric people dont have any roblems with them catching fire however many still consider them to be low quality and want to replace them with better ones. along with the bulbs too...i alsmost forgot.

ill be buying one for a 29 gal 30" fixture so please let me know what your experience with these lights are.

OHHH and since you mentioned budget ...yes im in the same boat.

THE SAME light at aquatraders.com comes with free shipping and lower price i believe :)

so i hope this helped you:)

good luck!
