i got a new light setup about 3 weeks ago. i did have a 130w pc light bar with 2 blue led moonlights. now i have a 716w light system: 2x250w 15k metal halides, 4x54w 48" t5ho(2xactinic, 2x10k) and 6xblue moon leds all of this is over a 75g tank at 6" above tank. i ran the 130w for 8 hours (0800-1600) i now run the 716w this way: 8 hours total: t5's from 1200-1430 and 1600-2000, mh from 1400-1630 and the leds are on all the time. in the tank i have an assortment of hard and soft corals (birdsnest-shrooms-bta-leathers-zoos-etc). i test calcium, nh4, ph once a week.i check salinity once a day when possible. now to the problem. i have slowly been adding time to the mh and while there is no bleaching there realy hasnt been any real noticable growth of my corals except for a couple yellow zoos that hitchhiked on a chunk of lr from an lfs and my coraline. will it get better by adding time to the mh or is it just a waiting game? any help is greatly appreciated, everything from bulb choices to run times will help. thanks everyone.
