Lighting my first rimless

Ok so I just setup my 45 gal marineland rimless cube. It's my first rimless and I'm in love. Anyway. I'm looking to light this bad boy. It's not drilled and I'm really wanting to do led. But not sure. I'm thinking it will be sps dominated. But still a mixed reef. I have always used t5. I really don't want to spend more then 400$ or 500$ on a light. Any recommendations. No chiller. And like the shimmer. Not against mh either. I really like the look of a 20k or phoenix 14k. I want to be able to have the light on 10 to 12 hrs a day. Also want moon lights.



Tank is: 24x24x18H

People have had success with both lights and I think either would be right-sized for that tank.

I will put this out there, my buddy has a kessel 350 over his Nuevo 38. He has has to increase the intensity to the point it's almost 100% trying to keep his sps happy. Not sure about the 360 but the 350 seems a little under powered. His light is 8" above water line

Wow. And they say 18" for 5' penetration. No way. I think I'm going to order the mp10 and the razor tonight. Leaving this wedding soon and my wifey is drunk so I'll ask her. Then she can't be mad!!!! Haha

I would think a photon 24 or even 16 would work really well on that size tank.

I'm seeing that fixture talked about more and more. Do I need the controller? Might order something tonight
