Lighting Opinion
Scenario:
New Lights for System, I currently have a 150g reef w/corals and those things that swim. I own the Outer Orbit HQI/Compact 72". This time when I am about to order new lights I would like help in choosing a few ?'s
Metal Hides Now 3-150w (10,000K) 10 hours a day
Dual Actinics Now 460/420nm 12 Hours a day
Color Temperature?

The opinion is the 10,000 change maybe to ________

It is really all about preference. If you want fabulous growth and do not care too much about aestetics (sp?), 6500 or 10,000K's are a great choice. If you like the slightly more blue look of deep water, go with a higher Kelvin color temperature bulb such as a 14,000K or 20,000K bulb.

It is what YOU perceive as good looking.
 
Another thing you need to think about is cost vs benefits. HookedOnReefing makes a good point I loved the look of my SUnburst 14000K bulbs but they did little for growth
