Lighting Options for a 215 RR

I am looking at getting a used 215g RR tank the is 31 inches deep. Was told with that depth of water, I would need to use 400W lights....

What are all my lighting options? I would like to research the money it is going to cost to get the thing lit up after I get it.

I know there are different types of lighting and I know everyone has their opinions, I would just like to know the different types of lighting I should research.

The tank will come with a Stand and Canopy, just no lighting fixtures. Any opinions/facts/advice/suggestions would be great appreciated

You can be successful with nothing but T5. Here is Iwan's 211 gallon tank lit with T5. I think most people would agree this is pretty decent coloration...
