Lighting Phyto and Prodibio-bio digest...

Hello all, I've been growing 3 types of phyto for a few years and was wondering if 24/7 lighting (which I do) is better than some dark time?

Also, does anyone here use prodibio? I've been using it for a couple of months and have good parameters but was wondering if it's good or a waste of money?

All the info I've been reading about home culturing phyto says that and 8 hour rest period is more beneficial.
