Lighting question for a split 55

So... I have a split 55 (2 tanks fresh planted tank on one side and reef on the other weird I know...) I currently have 2 fluval marine led 2.0 on the marine side and thinking about doing something a little more.... appealing... was going to do a kessil 160 pendant light on the marine and leave the marine fluval for the fresh water. Would that be enough light to hold SPS? According to the rule of thumb I was told by another reefer on here:

length x depth x 3 / 16 = watts of led to keep SPS
((48 / 2) x (21)3) / 16 = 94.5w

is this accurate in this case?

So one tank split in half? Weird. Pretty sure the watts per gallon thing isn't a thing any more. Especially with LED's. With them, its more about coverage, and power of course. Not sure one of those pendants would be enough coverage on a 24" section of tank. Could def do SPS in the center, not the edges.
