Lighting Question

I have a 90 gallon tank (48x x 18w x 24h) and I am currently running a Nova Extreme like the one below.

I also have a very old Jebo (there is nothing on it that tells me the model) that is similar to this.

This one is in a closet because I need bulbs for it. I could get four 55w bulbs for it for roughly $120. I'm currentlu have a FOWLR right now with an BTA which seems to not mind the Nova lights. I do plan on moving deeper into the hobby and doing some reef eventually (no idea what kind yet, probably something easy to start with) and want to have proper amounts of lighting when that day comes. My budget is pretty slim and probably will be till next year (wedding planning). The cost for a new set of bulbs for the Jebo is pretty close to my max. I could probably go up to $150 right now.

My question is, is there anything out there that is in that price range that would be ideal for reef support? Is buying new bulbs for the Jebo worth it or should I stick with the Nova?

Your advice it greatly appreciated. Thank you

Not in that price range for the entire tank.

I've been impressed with Reefbreeders which is the budget sponsor lighting system they start at 175, but you would need two for a 90G.

It's amazing to see how much the hobby has changed in the lighting department in the last 7- to 8 years. I went back to page one on the stickies and not too many trusted LED's or weren't sure about them. Now a days there isn't much that can beat them.

Thanks, for the reply SGT_York, I'll read up on the Reefbreeders.

Anybody have any suggestions on reliable brands in general since apparently my price range just won't cut it right now?
