You have roughly one bazillion options because of your critter choice and budget. Lots of people will toss opinions out ... Read thoroughly and carefully.
I like the following, should give you room to expand your tastes if you choose to. But this is only a suggestion:
You can spend 400 days on here reading about lighting alone. Study, look for general trends rather than specific instances. Make informed decisions and be patient.

Edit: broke my own rule... You wanted a 4'. The above are not 4' long.
I've had my eye on new lights from Ledzeal. The Malibu s300 is 4 ft long with 4 controllable channels via wifi app and you can specify the led configuration. Runs about $500 shipped from China. There is a thread on here with lots of user feedback.
ReefBreeders has an EverGrow made Photon 48 that is the same as the Photon 32 only 16" longer but the same number of leds. It's bright enough for anything, has a built-in sunrise/sunset controller and costs just above your budget at $499.
The MarsAqua that Ryan mentioned will cover 4' of tank. But you asked for a 4' fixture. So is your tank more than 4' long?
