Lighting requirements for sebae anemone

Ok I am looking into ligting options for my 125g that I am setting up. I have a pair of mated maroons that I want to get a sebae for. I have had great success with btas and others and would like a lil challenge. I am only planning on keeping some easy basic corals in the tank so my main concern is to have enough lighting for the anemone. I know that they are supposed to look brownish in color but most that I have seen are either yellow or white. I am assuming that these are bleached out. I dont really have a ton of money so the cheapest option would be greatly appreciated. I can do some sodering work and such if need be.
Thanks

I have a sebae in my 75 that has been doing fine under my PC lighting. He turned brown in just about a week after introducing him. I'm running 390 Watts of lighting.

I put a sebae in my 45gal. Its near the top of the tank. I'm was running 2-VHO lamps (95 watts each). I just switched to 2-T5 HO lamps (4' 54Watt each). The lights are longer than the tank but brighter. The VHO lamps worked fine for the sebae. Mine was white when purchased but also turned brown over time. I feed it one silverside a week. I have had it for over 9 months now.

PCs or MH will work - some of the sebaes in the trade have been dyed brt yellow. The fact that the other anemones are doing well is a good sign but seabeas are more demanding than LTAs or bubbletips

I have kept mine for a decade under VHO. Another member, phender, has had one under multiple NO fluorescent for at least as long.

i think they are somewhat easy to keep. my first reef tank and my first anemone. bought it white not knowing, turned healthy brown. mind did good under 130 watts of pc in a 20 gallon high (16")

FWIW

Mine is up high under a 250w DE MH. It turned from the standard sebae tan with purple tips to a greenish with purple tips that are bright red at the very end. Its hot.
