My tank is 24"L x 22"H x 18"W. I am running a Giesemann Nova II 250W MH with AC14000K.
Now I have a chance to upgrade my light. Should I perform the upgrade? I am thinking of the following possibilities:
Option 1: To add 2x95W VHO Super Actinics.
Option 2: To change the MH to 250W XM20K with Icecap ballast and a new reflector.
Option 3: To change the MH to 400W XM20K with Icecap ballast and a new reflector.
Option 4: Your suggestion.
Option 5: No change.
My objective is to maintain the best color. I don't really care about growth rate at the moment.
My questions are:
Q1: Which option should I choose?
Q2: What MH reflector is the current best reflector for the tank of my tank size, if I choose to change MH?
