I am new to Marines. I would like to change my fluorescent T8 tubes to the Arcadia T8 LED tubes. I have a Fluval Roma 200. I have been told that as long as I have magnetic Ballast this is straight forward swap. I rang Fluval and she said it is magnetic but I have seen other forums were people are saying it is electronic. Can anyone help please as these tubes are £45 each ,so a lot of money it they don't work.

I know on the metal halide to LED they have to be magnetic, not electronic. Going from fluorescent to LED if you find a magnetic ballast it will be very old. Most if not all Fluorescent ballast have been electronic since 1994. I changed my kitchen lamps out to LED a year ago and they work fine on electronic ballast.
