Lighting

I am currently running an AI puck over my 40 gallon for my anemone. I am thinking of changing this to a 4 bulb FHO 10,000K 2 white 2 attinic fixture. My understanding of LED is that they put out roughly 3x the amount of light per watt in comparison to high output lights. Will the FHO be enough? Currently the nem seems happy has positioned itself mid height in the tank, not directly under the light but not hiding either. I have the light set high enough that it covers the entire rock scape and the nem is covered. The FHO would sit directly on the rim.
Quite honestly I've had much better luck with FHO lighting than LED. Having changed everything over to FHO recently and selling my kessils. My corals have gone from meh to thriving. I have acros growing faster than I can frag them at the moment.
Any input greatly appreciated.

Can you elaborate a little bit about what fixture you're considering changing to? Never heard of FHO before but I could well be uninformed...

The range of florescent bulb types and fixtures available are too varied in their abilities to produce light for a given wattage to make a broad comparison to LED output useful.

That should be t5. I should have just said t5 make it simple Sorry. My bad. Was thinking high output fluorescents when I wrote that still got it backwards. And no, I don't expect them to compare in any way except in usable PUR and overall PAR. Which, from what I understand, you can make an educated guess based on the wattage the T5 bulbs as well as the LED put out. But overall, my understanding of the LEDs is that they put out 3x the power in a single watt when compared to the single watt produced by any florescent bulb.

With four 24 watt bulbs there will be a total of 96 watts, which will be roughly a little more than half the full max output of the LED currently over the tank (watt for watt) but if the LED does put out more lumens (I think that's right) per watt then the T5 would still fall short. However the T5 will run at full power longer than the LED does.

I noticed that the nem looks best when the light is not at full power through and seems to spread and look the most happy. So it may not need the LED at full power and the T5 will be okay.

The T5 would be due 10k with 2 actinic or triple 10k and one actinic. I can do 4 10K bulbs too if it needs that much light. i don't want to under light it but I also don't want to cook the little fella either.
