Hey guys, how well would this preform in a 10g reef? How much growth would i get? What kind of corals could i keep? More wattage what should i look for?

id definately say the sunpod over the pc's, definately worth the extra money...depends on what ur plannin on keeping though

The question i have is what else does it open me up to? is it a significant jump?

yes it is, with the 70w sunpod you'll be able to do sps if you want, with the pc's, not so much...even if you got the pc's youre eventually gonna wanna upgrade and its gonna cost you more. It'll save you money in the long run to start it up with the better light.

The other thing to consider is that retrofit you were looking at is 24" long and a standard 10 gal. tank is only 20" long.

I just started a 10 gal tank, and I went with the 2 x 40w Orbit from Current. But I'm only planning on keeping softies.
