Depends on what you are looking to keep?

I have a 96w 50/50 PC over my tank with mushrooms, softies, and a few LPS and everything is doing just fine.

Most say that you can't keep SPS or Clams under PCs, but the debate rages on.

I have PC's on my 29g biocube, albeit only 72w. Currently in the process of of upgrading to 144w, but still PC's becuase I want to keep the factory canopy.

My stocking list is listed below. As HumanIMDB has stated, I'be been told that I could not keep certain anemone's, SPS, clams etc. as well. But, I've seen listings of other people keeping them with PC's, so I'm not really sure.

I kept acro's with VHO with no problem. I did keep them toward the top but they did fine. They say PC's are slightly better then VHO's so you are probably OK. However their is nothing like the shimmer of a halide
