what's the best lighting for a 60g--assume I want to keep all corals, etc.

4x54w T-5s or 2x150W MH would let you keep most anything you want.

MH form sure the power (watt) depends on the depth of the tank.

I have two 175w metal halides over my 60gal tank. THey are just fine and look great.
