The pictures are of a 90 gallon sump.

I will return this light folks and I do have a clip around, so I'll look for a bulb to put to use.

Any recommendations on the water depth for chaeto? Is a 9x9 box ok? I'm not sure if I should build it into my sump or have it separate on top of the sump.

I like to keep cheato seperate only for the reason that it has an amazing ability to lose 1 little strand and that strand grown in to something to clog pumps (for me). Plus I like to play with other macros and its easier to keep ones that float and ones that put down roots seperate

Hmmm, I guess I don't understand the concern with the light. I've used CF fixtures that had three to four times the wattage of that and it was nothing more than a plastic box with an acrylic splash shield. Yeah, they got warm.... but hot enough to start a fire or melt glass? Um no... not even close. That thing is in a metal case and has a glass lens even... just can't fathom it being a problem. Back in "the day" when CF lighting was the shiznit I had 96 watt power quads screwed to the inside lid of a wood canopy and never thought twice about it.

that light is MFG by designers Edge out of seattle. look them up designersedge.com. I used to rep them to the hardware stores. they are good. you wont have to worry about it burning down as the CF dont produce that much heat.
