Lights for a NanoCube 24g Dx

I have a 24h Nano Cube Dx. I ordered a 70w SunPod HQI and got a GREAT deal on it. I really want to have some nice corals, fish etc eventually. Was I wasting my money? Should I return the SunPod HQI and go w/ the factory lights on the Dx? Like I said I do want to get into some nice corals/clams/fish and such.

Keep the light. I have a NC24 with MJ 1200 pump and I just recently upgraded my light to Sunpod 150W and it's so much better! With stock hood, my tank's temp was at 81.5 - 82.5 at 74 room temp and now my tank temp is at 80.5 - 81.5 at 74 room temp. Now I have a lot more lights and less heat. Since my tank is now open top, I added a AquaC remora skimmer so now my corals are happy then ever (temp at 81 - 82.5). Next upgrade, I am going to add another MJ 1200 pump for better flow after I get my JBJ nano chiller which should be in soon.

Does everyone else concur? Should I get some glass for the top to help with evaporation? Also my SunPod HQI is 70W b/c I read and herd that the 150 can cause heating problems w/ tanks.

Well done and I feel a chiller is the only way to go with most of these tanks.!
