Would anyone be interested in either a NOVA extreme 48" 4 bulb fixture, or an a 4 bulb retro with icecap 660 ballast? both come with bulbs. I'm thinking about converting to MH's and am really interested in some lights for sale online right now, but would need to sell these in order to pay for the new ones as money is extremely tight right now. Let me know if anyone has any interest. Not sure of a price yet.

volunteerguy...thats the plan! ;)

I'll do $150 for the icecap retro. and $125 for the nova extreme fixture...both come with bulbs. The icecap bulbs are about 8 months old. the nova fixture bulbs are about 2 months old. I really can't budge on the money because I'm trying to buy new lights and the only way I can buy them is if I sell these for the amount that I need to pay for the new lights. that is the only reason I'm selling these. Both work awesome over my 75 reef. I've got everything from mushrooms to an acro. The caps are growing like a 1/4 to 1/2 inch per day.

I've got dibs on the Nova, pick it up Monday. I was looking for one to replace the PCs on my 55. If you change your mind and want to do it sooner, Thurs or Fri is good for me. Give me a call.

Sweet Keith, one down, one to go... Those IceCap retros would make great supplemental lighting to someone with wicked halides. They'll put out a LOT more blue/actinic than PCs, and have the individual reflectors to make sure you're getting the most light out of each bulb. I would buy them, but I'm content with VHOs for supplemental lighting. I should have not replaced the VHOs and gone with these instead, but oh well. I'm sure they'll make someone happy.

Picked up the Nova this afternoon, thanks Keith. It fit perfect in my canopy of the 55, the vents in the side line right up with the fan... cool.

It looks brighter than the PCs I had in there, so my critters should be happy. The tank is near a window anyway, so it gets some supplemental during the day.

I dipped the pink frag (milli?) then stuck it in a vented breeding container in the 90 temporarily until lights out, then I'll glue it down. After a few minutes the polyps opened right up. Nice frag, Tx.
