Lights not working...

I turned the lights on today and they were working fine. I left the house for a couple of hours and returned to find the lights not on.
Everything else is running ok. If I unplug them and then plug them back on they stay on for about one second and then go off.

I'm running 4X39W T-5 retro-kit in my hood. They're driven by an Icecap 660.

Any ideas?

1) Bulbs are gone/on their way out
2) Ballast is gone/on its way out
3) End-caps are gone/on they way out
4) Check the plug that the ballast is plugged into....maybe tripping a fuse.....

Thats about all I can think off....
Can you plug different/spare bulbs into fixture? That should test out all at once....

Ballast, bulbs and endcaps are less than one year old.

Ballast is plugged into same power source as fans and they're working therefore it hasn't tripped the breaker.

For the moment I don't have a spare bulb to put in as my other bulbs are longer than these.

Looks like I've got some figuring to do..

TAke bulbs out and check the end caps for burn spots or other obstructions. Swap bulbs into alternate end caps.

Wait longer before plugging ballast back into wall.

After plugging back in wall and turning on lamps, does the bulbs tanke the 'normal' amount of time to warm up? Then go out quickly?

MO it is the ballast that is overheating and shutting down. Is it electronic ballast with thermal protection???

Check temp on ballast

I think I found the problem. One of the bulbs cracked.
With three of the bulbs out the last remaining bulb only lights up for about a second or less when I plug the ballast into the receptacle. This was the only bulb working briefly when I first discovered the problem.

If I change the bad bulb out and put the other two back in do you think they will all work? Or is my ballast bad too now from the bad bulb?
