Lights

Awesome Dude
After playing with my old light setup to make it work with my new tank it is obvious that I need new lights. Would a T5 setup be enough to support just about anything I want to put into my tank?

T-5's are great at keeping stuff alive, but I do not like the coloration of corals under them. A lot of my corals loose color under the t-5 setups I have at the shop. Monti's are the most dramatic for color loss, as well as acros. I had a Bali acro go brown under t-5's and is now turning back to purple in my LED show tank.

Once LED's come down in price I am gonna change em all out. Curren is coming out with a new LED system next year. As more are developed the price should come down.

I think a T5 setup would be the way to go. Other than Rob's experience with having corals brown out under them I can't see a draw back.

I have sps and lps in my tank under t5's and I think they look amazing. I haven't experienced any browning at all.
