Looking to see if anyone has a 70 watt mh light system, that they would sale.Doing a upgrade on my 6 gallon jbj. I will be at the meeting this weekend.THANKS DAVID

aquabuys.com has a kit that looks good for a nano post pics of your DIY I am planning one myself

Yes. My plan is to put it in my 12G while keeping 2 of the 24W PCs for actinics. I have a 6G so if yours goes well it might end up with a MH someday too.

I ran a Powerquad 96W CF over my 10G nano (when I had it) with good success. Fits perfectly on that size tank, and less of a heat issue that MH. I think most nanos are shallow enough to allow CF to get good light penetration to the bottom.

I used the 20" Coralife Aqualight. It was about $90. It is my refugium light now. Cheato REALLY grows under 96W of light, especially since the refugium is only 7" deep...

Anyway, I am rambling. Just wanted to mention the MH may not be required.....

True but it's SO cool. To have in a factory looking nano. :D

I just setup a 20 long with 130 watt cf,s.Going to use it as a frag tank for softies. The pom pom xenia are growing like weeds, andsome of my red ,and blue mushrooms need to be thinned out. Thats the only thing wrong with a nano not enough room.
