Lime green algae

Hey folks, it's been a few months now. How did this end up for everyone?

I got rid of mine by not dosing bacteria any more. Special Blend is terrible stuff.

I wish this was coraline Algae. I have had it for months now.

Did you know what type of algea it was?

so glad i found this thread.
sorta restarting my tank and found a bunch of this on a rock-most of my coraline had died. so yay. I'm going to watch it for color changing

Its the start of coralline and the change from green to purple is sometimes slow but it will take off!

Its just green film algae.. Its oh so very common in new tanks and will pass with time/proper tank maintenance..
VERY...VERY common/normal..

Its just part of the "ugly stages" of a new tank..
It can take weeks to a few months to pass..
