Limestone?

I just want to know if is good or bad??

I wanted to use it as a bedrock and then put live rock on top.

Limestone should be fine as a base rock since it is a calcite thus safe. However if you want good bio-filtration in these rocks, make sure that they don't just have holes but rather look at their porosity. The more porous rock, the more surface area for bacteria colonization it provides.
