My friend Linda has her tanks and animals for almost 20 years. She is an inspiration to me, and I would love to share her achievement with you.
The tanks(one coral and one fish only and both are 4 feet) were started by her Husband, Gary before they were married ~ 21 years ago. Linda took over the tanks soon after and become the primary care giver.

Most of the animals in the tanks were from the original set up, except a few frags that we traded. The elegance coral is as big and wider than Linda's head and lights were not even on yet! The tank is 2 feet wide, and the elegance coral reaches front to back! Linda makes frags of the elegance and other corals frequently. She has donated frags to public aquarium and given away to local reefers. This monster is the mother of all my baby elegance.

Here are some pictures of F2 and F3 babies from this mother colony.

Here is a very large frag Linda gave me over 14 months ago:

See the skeletal structure is thick and long.

Here are some F3 babies:

Here is another F2 baby that got almost a foot diameter, and its tentacles had gotten up to 4 inches long:

The best whole tank shot that I took. The 1/3 of the left side is block by stair railings(tank is under the stair case).

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW is inside the same tank??? don´t it bothers the polyps??

For guys/gals asking for frags, please contact Steve Tyree or Hunter at the Lucky Goldfish in Oakland. Linda has not sold any frags and she has no room for any thing else.
She has giving Tyree and few other local stores starter colonies. I was at Oakland Lucky Goldfish this week and Hunter has two colonies from this monster.

Truly an accomplishment. Keeping tanks for that long, and is such excellent condition shows her dedication.

WoW! Awesome. I was looking at her purple mushrooms too, look at them!
And that 20 yr. Imperator Angel is a first Imperator that i've seen which was kept in captivity for that long. He's absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for sharing her accomplishment.

Thanks you all for the nice encouragement, I'm am sure Linda appreciated your kind words.

The fish is a rare sight to see. When it was cruising over above the purple tang(as seen in the picture), it cast a shadow on the purple tang. Its like Mother Ship is over earth or some thing like that :)
I named him Arnold because of his bulging pectoris muscles like our Governor Arnold.
