Linkia and clams

FWIW-

I have had a Linckia laevigata for 3 years, and had clams going on 3 years as well. Never had a problem at all.

Thanks.
What about keeping a coral beauty with clams and corals?

I have had no personal experience with them. However I have heard mixed advice on the topic. Some say there is a chance there will be some nipping, others say not likely. Hopefully someone with personal experience will be able to answer you better on this.

I will say this though, if the CB is kept feed it is less likely to try its hand at other food sources.

Most of the dwarf angels are hit or miss as far as nipping. May be fine for a year or so, then suddenly decides your favorite T. maxima (or coral for that matter) tastes wonderful. Ever try to remove an angel from an established tank? Not my idea of fun.

IME, IMO, YMMV

I hear you. I just removed 2 Blue Devils from my tank. Only took a couple of days.

Since I don't want anything going wrong, I guess I'll pass on the CB

Definitely dont add the CB, or a black knox angel. I just captured the knox that nibbled two brains and a clam to death, not fun.
