My Linkia Blue Star legs has been seperated.
I see they keep moving.
What should I do with them ?

Seems like the legs keep moving but they get no food since there is no mouth.
Only two legs left So I throw everything to the toilet.

FYI.

I have read of others with this problem.. it may be a means of reproduction.. not sure... I have 2 linkia.. so I am curious if you can relate any tank and water parameters then ( or now) ?

How much live rock in your tank? What are your water conditions (pH, Ca ion conc. ? Do you have abundant coral ? How about algae types. Refugium ? Skimmer?
It might be nice to have some one with xperience help with linkia
problems... but I have had both of mine for less than a year.. so I hardly qualify.

I hope you didnt flush the guy.. he may have been stressed, but he may have recovered. Who knows ?

Dropping legs is a form of reproduction in some of the Linckia-type stars, but more often than not when they start dropping legs in our tanks its because they're dying. By the time they get to that point hope of saving them is pretty much lost.
