Lionfish tumor?

I just inherited this lion fish and it has what looks like a set of balls on it. I'm wondering if its a tumor or something else? Has anyone else ever seen something like this and can you give me advice? He is also not eating but its only been a few days. It follows the food as it in there but will not take a shot at it.

I actually had someone respond in another forum. They think it probably ate something like a shell and can't pass it. It eats when I use some tongs and wave the food in front of it. It has its good days where it swims and days where its lethargic and lays around. Still not sure if its going to make it.
