Lions and high lighting

I have finally got around to making the expensive of buying MH lighting and adding some noce corals to my tank.

In a post a wrote about my intentions a couple of people noted that lions really dislike high lighting and i should either ditch the coral idea or my lion. has anyone heard of this or agree with it?

Ive had a volitan in high light (vho) over 75 gallon reef. I dont think my lion really even noticed after couple of weeks. he still came to the top of the water to feed and also would swim in the day time hours. Dont be suprised to see him go and hide for the first few times the lights come on, but over all I say lions really dont care once they aclimate

give them some shady spots and caves to retreat too. Extreme exposure can burn their eyes and give them a cloudy look.
