Hi Barry,
did he say what makes his product better than DT's. Is this the frozen DEAD stuff that needs to be kept at -40 degrees to be kept healthy (per Toonen). Not many of us have freezers that will keep stuff at -40
Or is it some live stuff like DT's? If it is live, what is the cell count.

Yes i has to be kept in the freezer but his presentation didn't indicate 40 degree. I know that they recommend that you keep DT's in the fregs as well. Debatable in regards to being alive though, never put it under a microscope. :)

Edward says that there product has some inportant algae in it that DT's dosen't use. The cell type is 33.3% tetraselmis green flagellate, 33.3% Nanno-chloropsis green agla and 33.3% T-Isochrysis golden aglae.

He said that they have been having problem with there web site but here it is www.liquidlifeusa.com

I will e-mail him and ask more questions.

Barry

Barry,
See if you can have Edward call me because I cannot get ahold of him. Yes his website is still down.
Thanks,
Jim

BioPlankton is good and does contain 3 forms of phytoplankton BUT is not alive. Live phytoplankton like DT's is a better product because live food is fresher. They are both good and both are healthy for your fish. Personally I use DT's and have great luck with it but I do know a lot of people that use BP and have equally good luck with it. The BP will go bad quick if not kept in a cold enough freezer.
